Llama BuilderAgreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Skeleton Crew LLC, a Washington limited liability company that operates Llama Builder at lbd.one (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Who may use the Service
You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract with us, and only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. If you are under 13, you may not use the Service.
Your account
You sign in through a third-party provider (such as Google, Discord, Facebook, or Patreon). You are responsible for the activity that happens through your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Provide accurate information, and let us know if you believe your account has been compromised. If you sign in with more than one provider using the same verified email, we may link them to a single account.
Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- use it for anything illegal, or to infringe anyone's rights;
- upload or create content you do not have the rights to;
- upload malware or attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
- reverse engineer or misuse the Service except as allowed by law; or
- use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
Your content
You keep ownership of the designs and other content you create with the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for Your Content and for having all rights necessary to create and upload it.
Not affiliated with Electronic Arts
Llama Builder is an independent, fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Electronic Arts Inc. or Maxis. "The Sims" and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service, and anything you create with it, complies with the game's End User License Agreement and user-generated-content rules.
Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Some features require a paid subscription. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring basis (for example, monthly or annually) until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method through Stripe for each billing period.
You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, your paid access continues through the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again after that. We may change our prices; if we do, we will give you notice, and the change will apply to your next billing period.
Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact support@lbd.one.
The Service is provided "as is"
We work hard to keep the Service running well, but we provide it "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be available. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skeleton Crew LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50.
Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or if we need to for legal or security reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as the content license you grant, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
